“ This is a cute little place for breakfast or lunch. My husband was craving bacon and eggs and we were in town early. We stopped in and the staff was very attentive and the food very good. It was a slow morning so we had the place almost to ourselves. But appreciated the slower pace in a busy morning. ”
“ First timer..don't know why..just not a huge egg eater I guess..Was really floored as to quality and quantity of their food. I ordered a vegetable omelette with 2 sides (home fried potatoes and biscuits/gravy). Loved it all..lots spinach with tomato,shrooms,cheese.. potato was the bomb.2 biscuits with bowl gravy...awesome.Had to take half home cause I got full. Coffee by the way was great and all choices of creamers.Ill be a fan for life.PS..wait staff was excellent.Oh..add a few live plants to decor and I'll feel 5 star on its part. ”
“ Food: food was great and original. I had brunch with a stack of pancakes! Service: No bad, it just took a long time to get things going. We sat for about 15 min with no one noticing us. Once the waiter came to help us out, he stayed busy helping us out and maintaining good service The atmosphere was great. The restaurant was not busy. This made it enjoyable Bathrooms were clean ”

“ I can't think of much that I don't like about the place, other than the portions are, slightly, on the small side; I'm a BIG eater when I'm not in a hurry. The food is NEVER burnt, and the staff are friendly and on top of their things even when every seat is taken up. They have a Wednesday burger deal for 4.99 that comes with fries, but I think the drink may cost extra. I could be wrong though, chime in if I have that wrong. The interior is a little bit dated, but it has a warm feeling to it so it's not a bad thing at all! Give them a try if you're in the area. ”

I’m something of a grit snob and will say these grits, loaded with bacon and cheese, were really tasty, without lumps! Our coffee cups were kept full of aromatic goodness and they served real butter. A great way to start our day. ”

It was a Wednesday and they had a burger special for 4.99, which my husband got and said for the price it was GREAT!! I got the Southwest Quesadilla Salad which was one of the best salads I’ve had in a very long time. Like I said, I would highly recommend The Original Egg!! ”
